If you get the error:
  PP015: error reading key data
and you have an old ASPAN 3(or TASK 2) Hardlock Key and you are trying to install the program under Windows NT, here is the solution for your problem:

1. Install Aspan on to a PC with Windows 95 or 98 operating system.
2. Run Aspan at least once.
3. Make a backup of the C:\Aspan4 directory, including all the subdirectories, from the Win 95/98 PC to the Win NT PC. You may use the network if available or a parallel or serial cable or you may use diskettes.
4. Restore the previous backup of the C:\Aspan4 directory, including all the subdirectories, on to the NT PC.
5. Install again Aspan on to the NT PC, overwriting the restore.
6. After these operations you will be able to run Aspan on the NT PC
